This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.


Coffman Rites
   Will Be Sunday
Local Woman Dies At
	Age of 96
   Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Moore Coffman, 96, widow of David L. Coffman, will be
conducted at 2:30 Sunday in the Ferguson Funeral Home. Officiating will by Dr John V. Berger,
pastor of the Second Presbyterian church. Burial will follow in Church Hill cemetery,
McClellandtown.
   Mrs. Coffman died at 2:15 a m. Friday, February 25, 1949, in the home of a son, Ira D.
Coffman, 63 Lawn avenue, where she had resided for the past 18 years.
   She was the last of the family of eight children of William A. and Ruth Lilley Moore and the
oldest member of the Second Presbyterian church. She held membership in the Oxford Class,
Lodies Aid and the Missionary Society.
   In addition to the son, Ira D. Coffman, there survive four other sons,  Thomas, Calvin and
H. Dale Coffman, all of Uniontown; Frank E. Coffman, McClellandtown, and one daughter,
Mrs. A. J. (Mary) Franks, McClellandtown.
    Friends are being received in the funeral home.
