This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a
scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002.
It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its spelling
or punctuation.

MARY JANE COFFMAN

   Mrs. Mary Jane Coffman, aged 47 years, wife of Frank Coffman, died at her
home near Lambert, Friday morning, June 6, 1924, at 9:30 o'clock from a stroke
of paralysis.  Deceased  was a daughter of Isaac Coldren and Eliza LaClare,
and is a cousin of Ira W. Coffman of The Morning Herald.  In addition to her
husband she is survived by her mother, Eliza J. Coldren, a brother, Lyman
Messmore, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Harford, all of Messmore.
  Funeral services will be held from the Church Hill church Sunday afternoon
at 2 o'clock with the Rev. G. K. Bamford, of New Salem, assisted by the Rev.
D. C. White, of McCellandtown, officiating.  Interment will be in the church
cemetery.
