This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.

Death Told
   Funeral services for D. Bryan Christopher, a former teacher and school administrator, were 
held Friday at the Ruck Funeral Home, Baltimore, Md. 
   Mr. Christopher, who was 73 years old, died Tuesday at the Greater Baltimore Medical
Center after a heart attack. He lived at 2800 Inglewood Ave.
    A native of Masontown, he served 37 years as principal in the German Twp. school system. 
He was a member of the Masontown School Board for 16 years. He also served as secretary
of the board for the same number of years.
    After retiring in 1954, Mr. Christopher moved to Baltimore and was employed in the teachers
retirement division of the, State Education Department, receiving a citation from former Gov.
Millard Tawes.
   Mr. Christopher attended Grove City College, Southwestern State Teacher's College and
West Virginia University. 
   He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Treacher; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret E. Britt,
and two grandchildren, Mrs. Robert Richards of New Carrollton, Md., and Mrs. Franklin
C. Britt, Baltimore.
