This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.

CHRISTIE, ROSEOf 43 Maple St., Uniontown, died suddenly, Sunday, June 25, 1967,
at 10:05 AM, in the Uniontown Hospital, following a very brief illness. Surviving are one
sister, Miss Catherine Christie, at home and several nieces and nephews. She was a former
employee of the Household Furniture Co. for forty years, was a member of the Catholic
Daughters of America, Court No. 505, Uniontown, was a Trustee in the Queen of Peace
Chapter of the Catholic Business & Professional Women's Association, was a Charter
member of the Uniontown Music Club, had served as secretary for eight years for the
American Legion Auxiliary, and also secretary of Deanery 8, D.C.C.W., was a member
of St. John's R. C. Church, Uniontown and St. John's Altar and Rosary Society. Friends 
will be received In the Haky Funeral Home, 139 W. Fayette St., this evening, from 7 to 10
PM, and Tuesday, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 PM. A Requiem High Mass will he intoned
Wednesday at 9:30 AM at St. John's R. C. Church, Uniontown, with Rt. Rev. Msgr.
Andrew J. Schneider, as celebrant. Interment will follow In Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
The Catholic Daughters of America, Court No. 505, will recite the Rosary, Tuesday evening
at 7; the Catholic BPW, Tuesday evening at 7:30 and the Parish Rosary will be recited
Tuesday evening at 8:30.
