This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. 

BLANEY, ARCHIE A.  Age 84 years
of R. D. 1, Lake Lynn, died,
Wednesday, November 6, 1974 at
5:35 p.m. in the Morgan Manor
Convalescent Center, Morgantown,
W. Va. He was born September 26,
1890 at Cheat Neck, W. Va, the son
of the late George and Elizabeth
Blaney. He was a retired farmer and a
member of the Calvary United
Methodist Church of CheatNeck,
W. Va. Surviving are his wife,
Blanche Graham Blaney; two
daughters, Mrs. James (Donna)
Franks of Smithfield R.D. and Mrs.
C. Edwin (Eleanor) Kingan of
Rockville, Md.; six grand, children.
The family will receive friends in the
VanceBrownfield Funeral Home,
Smithfield, today from 7 to 9 p.m.,
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
and Saturday until 2 p.m., the hour of
service, with Pastor Nelson Krute
officiating. Interment will follow in the
Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery,
Smithfield.
