This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and 
put into a scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later 
photocopied and given to me in 2002.
It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no 
corrections to its spelling or punctuation.

MRS. FRANCES BLACKBURN

    Mrs. Frances Blackburn, aged 78 years, eleven months 
and seven days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Addis 
Triplett at Lemont, Wednesday morning, October 7, at 4:45 o'clock, 
from a complication of diseases.
    She is survived by her husband George Blackburn and four 
children, Mrs. Addis Triplett, Mrs. William Grimm, of Phillips, 
Edgar of New Salem; two sisters, Mrs.
Rachael Hayden of Hopwood, Mrs. Harry Headly of Fairmont, and a 
brother, Charles Jobes of Connellsville.  Twenty-seven grandchildren 
and 16 great grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services will be held at the daughter's home, Lemont, 
Friday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. Mr. Humbert, of Fairchance.  
Burial will be in Percy cemetery.
