Miss Offie Bishop Died on Monday 
	Miss Offie G. Bishop, well known lady of the Alapaha section, passed 
away suddenly of a heart attack Monday evening at 11:30 o'clock at her home five 
miles north of Alapaha.  She was 66-years old and had lived near Alapaha the 
past seventeen years.
	The deceased was born and reared in Irwin County, a daughter of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Bishop.  She had never married.
	Burial was held at Mt. Paron Church in Irwin County Tuesday afternoon at 
4 o'clock, in charge of the Giddens Funeral Home of Nashville.
	Surviving are two brothers, J.H. Bishop and George Bishop of Nashville, 
and one sister, Mrs. Martha Horton of Alapaha.
