Last Will and Testament of Adam RUPERT late of Henderson Township 

Last Will and Testimony of Adam Rupert late of Henderson Township,
County of Huntingdon, State of Pennsylvania. 

I Adam Rupert, being of sound mind and memory and understanding, do make
and publish this my last Will and Testament; Hereby revoking and making
void all former Will's by me at any time heretofore made and first I
direct that my body be decently interned in the burial ground of Thomas
Dorland according to the usage in our vicinity and that my funeral be
conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in
life. 

As to such estate as it hath pleased God to in trust me with I dispose
the same as follows: 

Item) after my decease I would wish to have all my household furniture
sold. Also lands and m0veable property as soon as convenient by my
executors hereinafter named. 

I give and bequeath to my son David two dollars to be paid to him for
his sole use together with what land and other movable property he has
already got. 

Item) I give and bequeath the proceeds of all my money arising from the
balance of my real or personal estate to my other children living to be
divided equally amongst them and their heirs as soon as can be
consistently with a proper settlement of all my debts and expenses to
share and share alike. 

Lastly I appoint my sons Samuel and John to be the executors of this my
last Will and Testament. 

In witness I whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this Sixteenth day of
May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Two.

Witnesses John Porter William Hare 

Huntingdon County, Pa. S.S. 

Be it remembered that on this, 26th day of June A.D. 1869, before me J.
E. Smucker, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting letters of
Administration on and for the said County personally appeared John
Flenner being duly sworn according to the law doth depose and say that
he is well acquainted with the handwriting of William Hare he having
frequently seen him write and that he verily believes that name of the
said William Hare signed the same as the subscribing witness is the
proper handwriting of the said William Hare who is now absent. John
Flenner Signed and subscribed the day and year aforesaid. J.E. Smucker

Huntingdon County S.S. Be it remembered that on this 26th day of June
A.D. 1869. Before me J.E. Smucker, Register of the Probate of Wills and
Granting letters of Administration in and for the said County,
personally appeared James Wilson who being duly sworn accordingly to
law, Doth depose and say that he is well acquainted with the handwriting
of John Porter, he having frequently seen him write and that he verily
and believes that the name of the said John Porter signed to the same as
the attesting witness is the proper handwriting of the said John Porter
who is now absent or deceased. Signed Jas. Wilson Sworn and Subscribed

Letters of Testamentary granted to John and Samuel Rupert On the Estate
of, Adam Rupert deceased. 

On this 26th day of June A.D. 1869 Letters of Testamentary in common
form were granted to John and Samuel Rupert on the Estate of Adam
Rupert,late of Henderson Township deceased. Signed J.E. Smucker Register
