Last Will and Testament of Philip KURFMAN, dec'd 

The last will and testament of Philip Kurfman of Union Township
Huntingdon County. I Philip Kurfman considering the uncertainty of this
mortal life and being sound mind and memory (blessed be Mighty God for
same) do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and
form following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath to three of my
sons Jacob Kurfman, Conrod Kurfman and John Kurfman, the sum of fifty
dollars each to be after my decease out of certain notes I hold against
them and to them I will nothing more. Item I give and bequeath to my son
Peter Kurfman one dollar to be paid to him after my decease also I will
that the deeds in my hands and possessions for the land of my son Peter
Kurfman immediately after my departure from this life be given up to him
and to him I will nothing more. Item I will that all my past debts as
shall be left me owing at my death together with my funeral expenses and
lawful charges touching the proving of or otherwise concerning this my
will shall in the first place out of my personal effects be fully paid
and satisfied and after payment thereof and subject hereunto then my
will is that all the residue of my goods stocks chattels household
furniture and notes or obligations due and owing me with a certain
message or track of land lying on or at Woodenbridge Creek in Dublin
Township and Bedford County be divided into three equal shares or parts,
one equal third part thereof I give an bequeath to my son Philip
Kurfman, one other third part I give and bequeath unto my son Daniel
Kurfman on other or remaindering third part thereof I give and bequeath
unto my only dau Elizabeth Gosnell, and I make and ordain my son Daniel
Kurfman and Philip Stever Executors of this my last will and testament
hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal the third day of October in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-six. Philip Kurfman (in

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Philip Kurfman
to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his
request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses
thereunto. Robert Speer Samuel Gehrett Joseph Edwards 

Huntingdon County Before me the subscriber Deputy Register for the
Probate of Wills and Granting Letter of Administration in & for the
county of Huntingdon, personally appeared Robert Speer and Joseph
Edwards Esquires, two of the subscribing witnesses to the above will who
being sworn according to law do depose and say that they were personally
present and did see and hear the above named Philip Kurfman sign, seal,
execute, publish, pronounce, and declare the within and foregoing
instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and that
they the said Robert Speer and Joseph Edwards, Esquires did sign their
names thereto as witnesses in the presence of each other & in presence
of Samuel Gehrett the other subscribing witness and in the presence of
the Testator and at his instance and request and that the said Testator
was at the time of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, to
the best of their knowledge and belief. Robert Speer [signed] Joseph

Daniel Kurfman Ex'c of Philip Kurfman dec'd Memorandum Letters
Testamentary were this day granted to Daniel Kurfman surviving executor
of the last will and testament of Philip Kurfman late of Union Township,
dec'd. Inventory to be exhibited within one month and a just and true
account calculation and reckoning of his said Administration within one
