The Last Will and Testament of John A. Henderson, Dec'd 

When It Shall please Almighty God to take me from this world and all at
___ enjoy, I John A. Henderson of the Borough of Huntingdon in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being of sound and disposing mind and
memory Do make this last Will and Testament in manner and form following
viz. It is my wish and desire that all my Just Debts and funeral
expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named So soon as convenient
after my decease and I Do hereby authorize and empower my said Executor
designation such need to sell and dispose of all my real Estate as well
as personal so soon as convenient and at such time as he may think
proper after my decease either at public or private Sale, and to make
and Execute Deeds to the purchaser or purchasers of the real Estate
their heirs and assigns, and I do hereby give, devise and bequeath to
the Children of my Uncle Thomas Henderson, late of Chester County
Deceased, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars, to be paid to them three
years after my decease, share and share alike. Provided the same shall
not exceed the one third of the residue of my Estate. After payment of
my debts, and legacies bequeathed by my respected Father, Andrew
Henderson, Esquire deceased, and debts due by him yet unpaid, and if the
said sum of Three Thousand Dollars should be more than the one third
part of the residue of my Estate then it is my will and desire that the
same be reduced so as not to __amount to more than this One Third part,
and all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate real and personal, I
give devise and bequeath to my friend Robert Alison of the Borough of
Huntingdon his heirs and assigns forever. And lastly, I do hereby
nominate constitute & appoint the said Robert Allison to be Sole
Executor of this my last will & Testament. In Testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand & seal the Eleventh day of September A.D. 1824.
Signed Sealed published & declared by John A. Henderson as and for his
last will & Testament Jn A. Henderson (seal) in presence of us. Jno

Huntingdon County Before me Thomas Kes Depy Reg for the probate of Wills
and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County personally
appeared John Henderson and James Coffey the two Subscribing witnesses
to the foregoing Instrument of writing who upon their solemn oaths do
say that they were personally present and did see and hear the Testator
John A. Henderson above named Sign Seal Publish & declare the above and
foregoing Instrument of writing as and for his last will and Testament
and they subscribed their names thereto as writing in the presence of
the Testator and at his Instance and request and in the presence of each
other. And further that the said John A. Henderson was at the instance
of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of
their judgments & belief. Sworn & Subscribed this 30th day of Sept 1824
