And first I direct that my body be decently interred according to the rites and ceremonies of the United Brethren Church and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life: As to such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows: I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife, Susanna Flott, my mansion farm. I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife all my household furniture and all my goods that in any way belong to my mansion house or dwelling; I also give to my wife my library. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John Gilbert to be my executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I Daniel Flott, the Testator have to this my last will "written on one sheet of paper" set my hand and seal this twenty-ninth day of July AD 1874. Signed and sealed, published and declared by the above named Daniel Flott as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto in the presence of the said testator and of each other. E. Lightner Register for the Probate of Wills and granting letters of Administration in and for the county of Huntingdon, personally came J. E. Harper and Maggie Carlin the subscribing witnesses to the above Will, and, being duly sworn according to law, did depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard Daniel Flot the testor sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his testament and last will, and that at the time of so doing he the said testator was of perfect and sound mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief.
