Last Will & Testament of Elizabeth Feris dec'd
Will Book 3, pg 319

In the name of God Amen - I Elizabeth Feris, formerly Elizabeth Lee late of 
Hopewell now of Warriormark Township Huntingdon County and State of 
Pennsylvania, now becoming infirm with age but in sound and disposing mind and 
memory, and being des rous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have strength 
and capacity so to do, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revokeing 
and making void all wills made by me heretofore - And first and principally I 
commit my soul to God that gave it, and my body to the earth to be interred as 
my executors may think proper - And as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath 
pleased God to bless me with, I dispose of in the following manner viz - I will 
and bequeth unto my son James Lee five dollars, secondly I give and bequeth unto 
my daughter Rebecca Masterson wife of  William Masterson five dollars, thirdly I 
give and bequeth unto Robert Sackett fifty dollars son of Azariah Sackett, 
fourthly I give and bequeath unto Azariah Sackett and Elisabeth Sacket his wife 
all the residual of my estate - And I make and ordain Azariah Sackett and 
William Weston Executors of this my last will and testament - I further declare 
this to be my last will and testament made this twenty seventh day of March one 
thousand and eight hundred and twenty eight -

as her last will and testament -

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of 
Administration in and for the County of Huntingdon personally Appeared Elijah 
Weston and Lavina Sackett who being sworn according to law do depose and say 
that they were personally present and did see and hear the above named Elizabeth 
Feris sign, seal, execute, pronound & declare the above and foregoing instrument 
of writing as and for her last will and testament; and that they these deponents 
did sign their names thereto, as witnesses in the presence of each other & in 
the presence of the said testatrix and at her instance and request; and that she 
the said testatrix was at the time of sound and disposing mind, memory,  and 
understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Mr. David R. Porter Esqr - Sr.  I hereby inform you of my intentions not to 
serve as Executor, as appointed in the last will and testament of Elizabeth 
Feris dec'd  and hereby acknowledge my resignation -

Memorandum

Letters Testamentary were this day granted to Azariah Sacketts Executor of the 
last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Feris late of Warriormark Township dec'd - 
Inventory to be exhibited within one month  and a just and true account, 
calculation and reckoning of this said Administration within one year. -
Given under seal of Office the 12th day of August A.D. 1830  D. N. Porter  Reg.
