Last Will and Testament of Philip CURFMAN late of Cass Township, dec'd 

In the name of God Amen. I Philip Curfman, Jr. of Union Township
Huntingdon County and State of Pennsylvania, considering the uncertainty
of this transitory life and being weak in body, but of sound mind,
memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and
Testament in manner and form following to wit, 1st I will that all my
just debts as shall be owing by me at my death together with my funeral
expenses, and all charges touching the proving of this my last will
shall in the first place out of my personal effects be fully paid and
satisfied. 2nd I will and bequeath all the balance of my effects estate
both real and personal to my beloved wife Sarah Ann during her natural
life, and after her death I will that my two daughters Emeline Pheasant
and Mary Ann are both living that all my effects be equally divided
share and share alike between my two above named daughters. And 3, I
will and direct that if my said daughter Mary Ann should marry that my
Executor herein after named give her so much of an out setting for house
keeping as her sister Emeline had to be furnished out of my Estate above
named. And lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint and constitute my
wife Sarah Ann and Joseph Park Executors of this my last will and
testament in witness whereof I here unto set my hand and seal this 22nd
day September 1[8]56. Philip Curfman (SEAL) 

Sealed, signed and delivered by the said Testator as his last will and
testament in the presence of us and each other the 22nd day of September
1856. David Clarkson A. Corbin 

Huntingdon Co. ss Before me the Register of the Probate of Will and
Granting Letters of Administration in and for said County Personally
appeared David Clarkson and A. Corbin, who being duly sworn according to
law do depose and say that they were personally present and did see and
hear the above named Philip Curfman Jr. sign seal Execute, publish
pronounce and declare the above and forgoing instrument of writing as
and for his last will and testament and that they signed their names
thereto as witnesses in the presence of each other and in the presence
of the said testator, and at his instance and request, and that at the
time of such signing and sealing the said testator was sound and
disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge
and belief. 

Sworn and subscribed this 17th day of February A.D. 1857 before Henry

Sarah Ann Curfman & Joseph Park Executors of Philip Curfman, late of
Union Township, dec'd. 

Memorandum Letters Testamentary in common form were this day granted to
Sarah Ann Curfman & Joseph Park on the Estate of Philip Curfman late of
Union Township deceased. Inventory to be exhibited in one month from
this date and a just and true account calculation and reckoning of their
administration of said Estate in one year from the date hereof or when
there unto legally required. 

Given under Seal of Office this 17th day of February A.D. 1857 (signed)
