Samuel M. BAITH, 74, of Mt. Laurel, N.J., died April 11, 2001, at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, N.J. Born June 18, 1926, in Three Springs, he was the son of the late Frank and Clara (Long) Baith. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Mortimer of Mt. Laurel, N.J., two sons and two daughters: Mark Baith, Daniel Baith, Naomi Lee and Lillian Baith. There are seven grandchildren. One brother, Harry Baith of Harrisburg, N.C., and four sisters, Mary McCoy of Three Springs, Mildred Baker of Huntingdon, Frances Schmalbach and Gladys Baith of Statesville, N.C., survive. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death: Conan, Warren, Lucy McCoy and Pearl Baith. Mr. Baith lived in Three Springs until he graduated from Saitillo High School in 1944. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired from Acme Markets, after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mt. Holly, N.J., and served as a deacon, elder, board member and Sunday School teacher. Funeral services were held April 16, in Maple Shade, N.J. Interment was made in the Lakeview Memorial in Cinnaminson, N.J.
