Sara Ella (Enyeart) AURANT, 61, of Jerusalem, Israel, died at 8 a.m.
Friday, May 31, 2002, in Jerusalem, Israel, following a brief illness.
Born July 2, 1940, in Williamsburg, she was the daughter of the late
Harry Granville and Rella (Stouteagle) Enyeart. She was previously
married to Walter R. Aurant, who resides in Rockhill Furnace. A daughter
and two sons survive: Dianna (Aurant) Frazor, Dublin, Texas; Jacup
"Gene" Aurant, Saxton; and Lawrence "Larry" Aurant, Huntingdon. Seven
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive. She was survived by
three sisters: Evelyn Enyeart) Franklin, Newville; Naomi (Enyeart) Ramp,
Shermansdale; and Reba (Enyeart) Barrick, Carlisle. She was preceded in
death by five sisters and six brothers: Ida Rife, Louella Brantner,
Mamie Fisher, Bessie Helzel, Minnie Rentz, and George Harvey, Howard
Lee, William Perry, David Alexander, Thomas Harrrison and Charles
Franklin Enyeart. Ms. Aurant previously worked at Arrow Shirt Co.,
Petersburg Manufacturing Co., and had sold insurance for Banker Life and
Casualty Insurance Company. While living in Jerusalem, she worked in the
field of archeology. She traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle
East, the United States and most recently had visited Turkey. she
enjoyed writing, photography and mostly her grandchildren. A memorial
service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Robert E.
Peters Funeral Home, 1106 Mifflin St., Huntingdon. Interment was made in
Jerusalem, Israel, June 7.
