Henry W. ALBRIGHT Jr., 75, of 5245 Vineyard Lane, Walker Township,
Huntingdon, died at 9 am. Thursday, March 2, 2006, at his residence.
Born Oct. 12, 1930, in Friedens, he was a son of the late Henry W. and
May Belle (Loughrey) Albright. Mr. Albnght is survived by a brother,
Eugene U. Albright and wife, Sandra (Bodziak), Walker Township,
Huntingdon; and a half-sister, Evelyn Seek and husband, Charles, Ocean
City, MD. He was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Reed, and eight
half-brothers and half-sisters. Mr. Albright was of the Lutheran
denomination. He was served in the United States Navy during the Korean
Conflict as a petty officer, second class. Mr. Albright was a member of
the Frank P Hommon American Legion Post No. 24 and the Loyal Order of
Moose Lodge No. 223, both of Huntingdon. He was a 1949 graduate of
Somerset Township High School and attended Georgetown University. With
40 years of government service, Mr. Albright retired from the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Goddard Space Flight
Center, Green Belt, Md., where he was employed as a rocket technician.
Mr. Albright enjoyed hunting deer at the family camp. Funeral services
will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at the John B. Brown Funeral
Home Inc., 417 Washington St., Huntingdon, with the Rev. Father David
J. Arseneault officiating.
