A. Mary (Dinardi) BARTLING, 84, of Morgantown, W.Va., died Wednesday,
April 30, 2003, at her home. Born Sept. 17, 1918, in Mount Union, she
was a daughter of the late Demetrio and Victoria (Sarra) Dinardi. She is
survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph H. Bartling. Two sons and
two daughters survive: J. Vincent Bartling, Morgantown; Philip James and
spouse, Dr. Clara Spadafore Bartling, Carnegie; Mrs. Norman (Victoria)
Watts and Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth Ann) Stankos, both of Morgantown. There
are five grandchildren: Jessica L. Oliver and her friend, Nathan Davis,
of Nitro, W.Va.; and Daniel Bartling. Matthew Bartling, Justina Bartling
and Alyssa Bartling, all of Carnegie. One sister and two brothers
survive: Ann Dinardi, Morgantown; Morris Dinardi, Mount Union; and
Sylvester Dinardi, Morgantown. She was preceded in death by one son,
Frederick Bartling; three sisters, Erlinda Dinardi, Elizabeth Dinardi
and Julia Chico; and three brothers, Carmel Dinardi, John Dinardi and
Demetrio "Tony" Dinardi. Mrs. Bartling was a member of St. Mary's Roman
Catholic Church, Star City, W.Va. She was a graduate of West Virginia
University in the Licensed Practical Nurse program and also of Wilford
Academy. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was formerly
employed by Monongalia General Hospital and West Virginia University
Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
