 CASHMAN- In Brooklyn, NY on January 6, 1915, William 
Cashman in the 44th year of his age.

Relatives and friends a of the family are invited to 
attend the funeral without further notice from his late 
residence 408 Gearen Ave, Brooklyn, NY. Solemn High Mass 
at the Sacred Heart Church at 9 o'clock on Saturday, 
January 9th. Meet at the house at 8 am. Arrive at the 
West Chester on 2:38 train. Interment at St Agnes 
Cemetery, West Chester.

 
William Cashman

     In Brooklyn, New York, William Cashman is dead; 
having succumbed to pneumonia yesterday and his body 
will be brought to West Chester, for interment.

     For the past decade or thereabouts he had been 
proprietor of a hotel in that city and came here only 
on an occasional visit, but is well remembered here by 
his old friends. His age is given at forty-four years.

     About twenty years ago Mr. Cashman who was a native 
of Ireland and was the employee of the late congressman 
Smedley Darlington, of Faunbrook, as coachman, came into 
prominence into West Chester as a foot ball player, and 
he  and his employer's son, Percy S Darlington, took part 
in all the big games played here.

     He is remembered as a genial friend and a player of 
much endurance and good nature. He attended St Agnes 
Catholic Church.

     Two sisters, Mrs. John Mc Gowisk and Mrs. Mary Jenkins 
and a sister-in-law Mrs. Timothy Cashman, live in West 
Chester. A brother Morris, lived in N and there is also a 
brother Jerry in Brooklyn and the widow and a son.
