Village Record, November 21, 1865
Brought Home- John H. Buzzard, son of Simeon Buzzard, of Schuylkill Township, 
Chester County, was brought home last Monday, and was buried on Tuesday last in 
the Charlestown burying ground, aged about 29 years. He was a soldier and died 
for his country.  He entered the Army as a volunteer in the 119th Regiment.  He 
had been in eight battles.  His funeral was large of many sympathizing 
friends.  The Odd Fellows attended the funeral in a body.
