Caroline Jane Brown.  An aged colored woman, Caroline Jane Brown, died in 
Downingtown on Tuesday, aged about 75 years.  This colored woman spent nearly 
all her life in the families of the Downings, Thomas and Ashbridges, in the 
vicinity of Downingtown, by whom she was greatly esteemed as also by the entire 
community in which she resided.  She was noted for her integrity and correct 
deportment through life, as well as for her kindness to everyone.  Her death is 
greatly regretted by a large circle of friends.

BROWN- In Downingtown, on the 6th inst., Caroline Jane Brown.  Relatives and 
friends are invited to attend the funeral from her late residence in Downingtown 
on First-day (Sunday), seventh-month 11, 1886 at 11 o'clock.
