Mrs. James H. Bond, Sr.
Mrs. Harriett P. Bond, wife of James H. Bond, Sr., of E. Summit Ave., West 
Grove, passed away in the Delaware Hospital, Wilmington, Del., on Saturday, 
following an illness of two years.  She was 64.  Born in West Grove, she was 
the daughter of the late Charles N. and Mary Brown.  All of her life was spent 
in West Grove.

For the past 35 years the deceased had been a member of the Supreme Council of 
the House of Jacob of West Grove where she took part in all activities.  For 
the past 20 years and up until the time of her passing she was an Eldress in 
the Church.  

Surviving besides her husband are: eight sons and daughters, Mary, wife of 
Clinton Walls; Lillian, wife of Alfred Cain both of West Grove, Louise, wife of 
Moses Bynum of New Haven, Conn., Miss Anna Bond of Coshocton, Ohio, Norman W., 
James H., Jr., and David E., of West Chester and Raymond of Oxford; also five 
sisters and brothers: Mrs. Lillian Butcher of West Chester, Mrs. Pearl Wilson 
and Raymond Brown of Philadelphia, Norman Brown of Toledo, Ohio and Hollie 
Brown of West Chester; also 44 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.


BOND- In the Delaware Hospital, Wilmington, Del., on March 22, 1958, Mrs. 
Harriett P. Bond, wife of James H. Bond Sr., in her 65th year.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from 
the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, East Summit Avenue, West Grove, Pa., 
on Saturday, march 29, 1958 at 1 P.M.
Interment in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester, Pa.  Friends may call 
at the House of Jacob on Friday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
