Levi Bingaman, of Coventryville

Levi Bingaman, a life-long citizen of Coventryville, South Coventry, Chester 
County, died on Monday at the residence of his son, Samuel Bingaman, at 
Plainfield, N. J. aged 71 years and 3 months. His wife and two sons survive. The 
second son Howard, is a resident of Chicago. Mr. Bingaman has been in poor 
health for upwards of a year, and went to visit his son at Plainfiled, with the 
hope that a change of some would prove beneficial. Deceased was a most exemplary 
citizen and a faithful member of the Coventryville Methodist E Church, and a man 
of more than average ability. He was brother to William Bingaman, a well-known 
local preacher, who died several years ago. The funeral will take place on 
Friday, January 24, arrive at Pottstown via Reading Railroad, at 11:10 a.m. 
Carriages will meet the train for Coventryville, where interment will be made in 
the cemetery at that place.
