DEATHS WORK.
Amidst the preparations for our Christmas festivities, the angel of death
visited our town on Saturday morning and called home Mrs. Josephine Anderson, a
loved one of our town. She was the widow of Robert Anderson and had been a
faithful worker in the Presbyterian Church. She will be greatly missed, both
by the old and young, as she greeted everyone wit a pleasing smile always. The
following sisters survive: Miss Clara Paxson, and Mrs. Elizabeth Townsley, of
Philadelphia, and Mrs. Edgar Witman, of Little Britain, and George W. Paxson,
of Philadelphia, and James E.E Paxson, of Lancaster, also the following
children: F.O.P. Shutt, this borough, with whom she made her home, and George
Paxson of Philadelphia.
