Granville Anderson, West Chester's oldest barber, now retired, is observing his 
73rd birthday anniversary today.  Granville was born in Baltimore and came to 
West Chester more than half a century ago from Oxford. A familiar figure on the 
streets, he probably knows as many men as any persons in West Chester.

             Philadelphia and Alfred of Media;  Sixteen grandchildren and 
             fifteen great grandchildren.  Two sons, Granville A., Jr and 
             Verril L. are deceased.
