Anderson- In West Chester, on Thursday, April 27th, 1893, Cora S. Anderson, the 
daughter of James Anderson, in her 23d year.  The relatives and friends of the 
family are requested to attend the funeral on Sunday Afternoon, April 30th, 
from her father residence.  Meet at the house at 2 o'clock.  Interment at the 
Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Cora Anderson
Yesterday Cora Anderson, daughter of James Anderson, West Chester, died from 
pulmonary and other troubles. She was about 18 years of age and was an 
accomplished pianist, and one of the first colored music teachers in West 
Chester. (Researchers note: ages appear as reported.)

The funeral of Cora L. Anderson, daughter of James Anderson took place form her 
late home on West Gay Street yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended by 
members of the Second Presbyterian church of which she was organist.  Floral 
offerings consisting of two wreaths and a beautiful harp. Were presented by 
friends of the deceased and the services were in charge of Rev C. Lee 
Jefferson, assisted by rev Rev F.M. Clough and Rev. Theodore Gould. Interment 
was made at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, where the bearers war C.C. Fry, Charles 
Mayhugh, James Spence, Jr., Orlando Cummings, John Moore and Charles Hopkins
