Patricia Helen (Redline) ANDREWS, 75, of 400 Ninth St., Huntingdon,
formerly of Altoona, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at her residence. Born
Jan. 20, 1927, in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and
Helen (Samuels) Redline, She was united in marriage to James F. Andrews
Oct. 19, 1946, in Altoona. Mr. Andrews preceded her in death Feb. 12,
1984. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Michael D. Andrews,
Niceville, Fla.; Mark F. Andrews, Jacksonville, Fla; Kathleen A. Davis,
Altoona; and Jendi L. Lindsay, Central, S.C. There are six grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and one
brother: Norma (Redline) Gorsuch, Cape Coral, Fla.; Judith (Redline)
Coopey, Mesa, Ariz.; and Harry H. Redline, Huntingdon. Mrs. Andrews
attended Asbury United Methodist Church, Juniata, Altoona. She was a
volunteer for the American Red Cross and served as Blair County Blood
Director during the 1960s. A 1944 graduate of Altoona High School, she
was employed as a secretary for the Carlisle Navy Depot. She retired as
a secretary from the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Theodore
J. Stevens Funeral Service, 1331 Eighth Ave., Altoona. with Pastor Carl
Leipold officiating.
