SAMUEL S. L. BEAVER
Entriken, Pa.

Farmer: Samuel S. L. Beaver was raised on the farm.  Born in 1880, at Entriken, 
and at Entriken received his first knowledge of an education.  A son of Anthony 
Beaver, who died in 1925, and of Margaret (Grove) Beaver, now living at 
Entriken, Pa.  Samuel S. L. Beaver lives on a farm of ninety-six acres and does 
general farming.  Came from Garner farm; lived there four years, and on Hoover 
farm, Hesston, for six months.  Both he and his wife belong to the Reformed 
Church of Entriken, Pa.  He has been a farmer all his life. Brothers are: 
Reuben, at Indiana; Franklin, at Marklesburg, Pa.; Benjamin, Huntingdon, Pa.; 
Henry, eleven years of age.  Sisters are:  Edna M., Entriken, Pa.; Martha, 
married to Edmund Holsopple, Indiana.  Samuel S. L. Beaver was married to Lida 
Bessie Stone, daughter of Michael and Jane Stone, of Clearfield Co., Pa.  Three 
sons:  Glenn, P.R.R. shops, Altoona, Pa., Paul, married to Beulah Robb, with 
Reeves, Parvin & Co., Huntingdon, Pa.; Ralph, married to Ethel Beck, at home; 
also Margaret, at home.  Alda is deceased, aged eleven months; died of 
membraneous croup.  Mr. Beaver is a much experienced farmer, and thoroughly 
conversant with all the details that are required in tilling the soil.
