FRANK BEAVER
Henderson Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa.

Frank Beaver was born Sept. 25, 1886, at Donation, Oneida Township, and at 
the schools of that district received part of his education.  The family 
moving into Miller township, he attended the Summit school; also Smith's 
school in Miller township, finishing his education at the grade schools of 
McAlevy's Fort, Huntingdon Co., Pa.  A son of Theodore Beaver, who was a 
farmer and died in 1926, aged sixty-six years.  The father of Theodore Beaver 
was Jacob Beaver, a farmer and contractor of Alexandria, Pa.  The mother of 
Frank Beaver was Mary J. McCracken, who died May 2, 1917, aged sixty-one 
years.  Frank Beaver was a farmer up to 1919; was with the P.R.R. as 
blacksmith helper for two years.  He was employed on State Highway 
construction work in Oneida township for two years.  He belongs to the First 
Methodist Episcopal Church of Huntingdon, Pa.; his wife also.  He is a 
Republican in politics.  Has one brother, Harry, Huntingdon, Pa., a machinist 
and blacksmith; two sisters, Bessie, married to James Grove, Mill Creek, Pa.; 
Annie, Penns Grove, N.J.  Frank Beaver was married to Catharine Smith, a 
daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Smith, a contractor, of Huntingdon Pa.  Mr. 
Beaver is paying his attention to poultry raising, specializing on white 
leghorns, of which he has at present a large amount.  He is located about 
one-half mile west of Mill Creek, Pa.
