  JAMES MADISON BARRICK, brick manufacturer, of the firm Barrick Bros., 
Huntingdon, Pa., was born in Huntingdon, July 22, 1869.  He is a son of 
Jacob and Isabella Barrick, of whom some account is given in the sketch of 
their eldest son, William H. Barrick, in this work.  James M. Barrick was 
educated in the public schools of his native town, and from his schoolboy 
days to the present time, has been engaged in the manufacture of brick.  Mr. 
Barrick's politics are Republican.
  On November 1, 1894, in the town of Huntingdon, James M. Barrick was 
married to Mabel, daughter of James and Elizabeth Fort, natives of that 
place.  Mrs. Barrick's father is deceased, but her mother is still a 
resident of Huntingdon.  Mr. and Mrs. Barrick have one daughter, Sarah, born 
March 31, 1895.  They attend the Methodist Episcopal church.
