C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. She had been seriously ill for the past three months. She was born at Petersburg on March 25, 1910, the daughter of Thomas and Christina (Orlando) Cascar and was united in marriage with Roy J. Altemus on Aug. 10, 1942, at the Catholic Church in Winchester, Va. Surviving are her husband; a brother, Louis Cascar of Mount Union, and a sister, Mrs. Lodean Radvick of Claypool, Ariz. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Altemus was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Mount Union, belonged to the St. Catherine's Daughters of America and was a charter member of the Mount Union Business and Professional Women's Club. A graduate of Mount Union High School in the Class of 1927, she had worked for the G. C. Murphy Co., Mount Union, for W& years as a cashier and bookkeeper. For 18 years, she operated the Neu-Bridge Restaurant and along with her husband later operated the Travel-Pac, Mount Union. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from St. Catherine's Church, Mount Union with Fr. Paul Thomas as celebrant. Interment will be made in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Shirleysburg. Friends will be received at the Robert D.
