Frank Foster officiating. Burial followed at Randolph Memory Gardens. Mrs. Bartlett died Saturday, Feb. 3, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke. Survivors include one daughter, Macelia Muldrew of Roanoke; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Bartlett, and a daughter, Betty Sudduth. A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mrs. Bartlett was born Nov. 23, 1905, in Heard County, Ga., daughter of William B. and Amanda Johnston Banks. She was a member of Rock Mills Baptist Church and had been employed with Wehadkee Yarn Mills. Mrs. Ingram is survived by many nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Winford Ingram, and several brothers and sisters. Born May 19, 1921, in Randolph County, Mrs. Ingram was the daughter of the late Jackson and Nancy Fincher Ballard. She was a member of Fairfax First Baptist Church, where she was very active. Mrs. Ingram taught children's Sunday school for many years and served as secretary for the children's department. She retired from West Point Stevens Fairfax Mill with 43 years of service. He served as secretary, first responder and a member of the A & M Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by his father, William A. After returning home, he lived in Chambers County until 1994. He then returned to Randolph County. Mr. Yates was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, taught Sunday school and sang in the choir as long as he was able. He retired from Opelika Welding Co., where he was plant engineer and purchasing manager. Mr. Yates is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Frances Yates; five brothers, Esker, Lawrence, Lowell, Billy and Ray Yates; one sister, Myrtice McManus; one sister-in-law, Mary Yates; and one brother-in-law, Earnest Brady. Gary Henderson and the Rev. Jon Tal Murphree officiating. Burial will follow in Wedowee City Cemetery. Mr. Perry died Sunday, Feb. 11, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika after a brief illness. Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Sarah Kate Colvin Perry; a son, Rob Perry; four daughters, Carol Haynes and Beth Drake of Wedowee, Susan Turner of Leesburg, Ga., and Sally Temple of Columbia, S.C.; and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Perry was born Jan. 29, 1928, son of Thomas Andrew and Maude Beck Perry, and lived most of his life in Wedowee. After graduating from Randolph County High School and serving in the U.S. Army, he received a chemistry degree from Auburn University. He returned to Wedowee and entered the grocery business, later adding cattle and timber farming to his interests, as well as a second grocery store in Lineville. In 1984 he established radio station WASZ-FM in Ashland, which he operated until 2002. He served for many years on the board of directors of Associated Grocers of the South, was a member of the Wedowee Kiwanis Club for over 50 years and an active member of First United Methodist Church of Wedowee. He was also a Mason and a former chairman of the Wedowee Utility Board, In additional to his parents, Mr. Perry was preceded in death by a brother, George Perry; and sisters Frances Ann Perry Thomas and Jane Perry McManus. Mr. Little served in the U.S. Army during World War II, fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a decorated veteran. Mr. Parsons was born in Fancy Prairie, Ill., son of Ada Salmon and Thomas Parsons. He was a lifelong resident of Bloomington, Ill., before moving to Louisiana after retirement, then moving to Lake Wedowee. He had worked for 26 years for Eureka Williams as a tool and die maker, working at Eureka during World War II and remaining as a millwright for the Local Bloomington Carpenters Union. For many years the family summered in the Hayward, Wis., area. An avid learner and reader, he had been a member of the Masons for over 50 years. His favorite hobby was fishing, and he was known as "Boss Hog of the Water." He is survived by four daughters, Tyna "Tippi" Healea and Sandra Parsons Bramlett of Wedowee, Winnie Lawson of La Luz, N.M., and Janie Beverly of East Lansing, Mich.; friends Marie and J.P. Marshall, who helped in his care while he lived here; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Gene Parsons of South Carolina.
