WALTER FRANKLIN ADAMS 

Of 512 Sixth avenue, Juniata, died unexpectedly at 10.20 o'clock Saturday night 
at his home after a shopping trip. Deputy Coroner Edgar G. Walls said that death 
was due to a heart attack. Mr. Adams had been employed as a pool leader in the 
Juniata E. and M. shop of the Pennsylvania railroad. He was born Jan. 13, 1894, 
at Wayscales, near Shamokin, the son of Egbert and Elizabeth (Ester) Adams, and 
lived in Sunbury for a number of years. For the past 23 years he had resided in 
Juniata. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Juniata. Surviving are his 
wife, Mabel (Sarvis) Adams, and his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Adams of Sunbury. 
Friends will he received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock this 
evening.

FUNERAL NOTICE

ADAMS - Funeral services for Walter Franklin Adams of 512 Sixth avenue, Juniata, 
will be held at 8 o'clock Monday evening at the Mauk and Yates funeral home in 
charge of his pastor, Rev. Ralph Birk.  The body will be taken Tuesday morning 
to the Davis funeral home in Northumberland where further funeral services will 
be held at 2.30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.  Interment in Northumberland.  
Friends are being received at the Mauk and Yates funeral home.
