ACKER.

  Marion C. Acker, a prominent young farmer of Woodbury township, aged 
29 years, died Friday evening at 9 o'clock in the Altoona hospital, 
following several weeks' sickness from typhoid pneumonia.  He is 
survived by his wife and four-year-old daughter, Margaret.  He is also 
survived by his father and mother and the following brothers and 
sisters: John, William and Roy of Woodbury township and Mrs. Clara 
Huntsman of Juniata.  He was a member of the Lutheran church.  His 
remains were taken to his parental home, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Acker near 
Beavertown, where private funeral services will be held this morning at 
10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. M. Rearick.  Interment in the Reform 
cemetery at Beavertown.
