Uncle Tom Boak, one of Clay county's oldest and best citizens, died at his home
in the Sikesville community on last Sunday following a long illness. He was a

beside the wife who preceded him in death 12 years. Blair was in charge. The
deceased was 79 years of age and had lived in this community for more than 40
years. He is survived by six sisters and four brothers. Only one brother, Reda
Boak, from Lineville was able to attend the funeral. Pallbearers were Waters
Stone, Clifford Boak, Crayton Kenady, Lester Kenady, Clyde Stewart and Leon
