Farewell, Charlie Coudriet
Past NHEMA president Charlie Coudriet died on February 28 after a long and
courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Charlie was a tremendous credit and
asset to NHEMA and our industry. In his leadership of Dominion Capital and Saxon
Mortgage, he exemplified a commitment to ethics, fairness and customer service.
He gave his time generously to NHEMA in a variety of capacities, including Board
member, Executive Committee member, Government and Public Affairs Committee
chair and president. Charlie's term as president in 2000-2001 coincided with one
of our industry's toughest years. He handled the pressure with grace and
composure, and provided the clearheaded leadership NHEMA needed to stay strong
and vital through this difficult time. Charlie was a credit to our industry and
one of NHEMA's most valued members. He will be sorely missed.
