Russell M. Cochrane

Services for Russell M. Cochrane, 84, of 700 Williams St., Clearfield, 
who died Wednesday at the Williamsport Hospital, will be held Saturday, 
at 2 p.m. from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Earl 
Brooks officiating.  Interment will be in Centre Cemetery in Hyde.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
until the hour of services on Saturday.

Mr. Cochrane was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church.  He 
served on the official Board of the church as elder and on other church 
boards as well.  He was a member of Clearfield County Volunteer Firemen's 
Association, life-member of the Third Ward Hose Co., was a former member 
of the Fair Board, a 50-y6ear member of Philipsburg Council UCT, member 
of Susquehanna Grange, and Seventh Degree Club of Clearfield County 
Pomona Grange.

For more than 30 years Mr. Cochrane was employed as a salesman for Dufton 
Hardware Co. and later for Delaney Hardware Co.

He was born on Dec. 5, 1890 in Clearfield, a son of William J. and Ellen 
Daniels Cochrane.

He is survived by a son, William J. Cochrane of State College, a granddaughter 
Mrs. Kay Montagne of Auburn, Wash., and a sister Mrs. Mary Buchner of Curwensville.

He was preceded in death by parents, and his wife Zella (Carr) Cochrane.
