ANNIE M. BLOOM 
 
  Funeral service was held Monday at Madera for Miss Annie M. Bloom, 
85, who died last Friday at her home In Madera.  She was widely known 
in Tyrone as a restaurateur prior to leaving for Madera some 25 years 
ago.  
  More recently she served as a postal employee for 20 years and before 
that was employed by the former H. B. Swoope Coal Co. at Madera.
  She was born March 24, 1883, at Ansonville, a daughter of Samuel J. 
and Kathryn Caskey Bloom.
  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Minerva K. Thurstin and Mrs. Hazel 
Stuck, both of Clearfield.  She was preceded in death by four sisters 
and a brother, Margaret, Mrs. A. K. (Nellie) Stoker, Mrs. Chalmers 
(Rachel) Hyskell, Mrs. Elmer (Sadie) Stitt and Ford G. Bloom.
