TRI-COUNTY SUNDAY, DuBois (PA), December 23, 2007

BONNIE C. BELL

Bonnie C. Bell, 87, Game School Road, Brockway, and most recently of Parkside 
Elder Care and Highlandview Health Care Center in Brockway, died Saturday at 
DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 12, 1920, in Brockway, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and 
Olive Morrison Calhoun. She was married to Robert Bell. He preceded her in 
death Jan. 9, 1979.

She was a retired health and physical education teacher, having taught at the 
Brockway/Snyder Township School and later at DuBois Central Catholic.

She was a member of the Sugarhill Presbyterian Church and very active in the 
Jefferson County Association of Retarded Citizens and Camp Little Leo and Camp 
Friendship. She enjoyed baking, gardening and canning.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Bell of Brookville and Patrick Bell of 
Brockway; two brothers, Robert and Wayne Calhoun, both of Brockway; one 
sister, Mary Belle Corbett of Clarion; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia D. Bell, and two brothers, 
William and Dwight Calhoun.

BELL: Bonnie C., Game School Road, Brockway, and most recently of Parkside 
Elder Care and Highlandview Health Care in Brockway, died Dec. 22, 2007. 
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carlson-
Shugarts Funeral Home Inc., Brockway. A funeral service will be held at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Revs. Dave and Emily Koehler 
officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville. 
Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
