Mrs. Letha (Baker) Beatty, wife of Clark E. Beatty of Mahaffey, deceased about a 
year ago, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman McGarby in Phillipsburg, 
Monday evening [September 25] at 6:30 o'clock.  Mrs. Beatty leaves three 
daughters; Mrs. Roy Munshower, Homer City; Elma Zufall of Mahaffey and Mrs. 
Norman McGarby, Phillipsburg; two sons Clifford Beatty of Turtle Creek and Reed 
Beatty of Troutsville. Mrs. Beatty also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lorna Peterson 
of McKeesport and one brother, Clyde Baker, of Portland, Oregon.  Friends are 
being received at the T. B. McCracken Funeral Home in Mahaffey, until Thursday 
at 2:00 o'clock, when funeral services will be held in the Mt. Carmel church. 
Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel cemetery.
