Anna Shoff Barrett

Mahaffey  Anna Barrett, 87, of Mahaffey and formerly of Berwinsdale died at 3 
a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 1996, at the home of her daughter, Louanna Kitchen, with 
whom she resided. 

Born April 9, 1909, in Marron, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and 
Ruby (Rowles) Shoff. 

Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Baptist Church of 
Ansonville. 

In 1925 Mrs. Barrett married Roland L. Barrett who preceded her in death in 
1989. 

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis A. Bronson of North Augusta, S.C., 
and Mrs. Kitchen; a son, Harry G. of Chambersburg; 10 grandchildren, a number 
of great-grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Read of Curwensville RD; and a 
brother, Harry J. Shoff of Cleveland, Ohio. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death 
by a sister, Lenore. 

A private funeral service was held this morning at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral 
Home Inc., Irvona, with the Rev. James Clinton officiating. 

Interment is in the Cross Roads Cemetery, Coalport RD.
