The Clearfield Progress 4/26/1915 April 26, 1915
Mrs. Pearl Allison

Indiana, Pa., April 26.-Mrs. Pearl Allison aged 30, wife of Dr. L. D. Allison
of Kittanning, was killed instantly yesterday afternoon when her automobile
struck a curb on the state road, near Hook's curve north of here. Mrs.
Allison was thrown out of the machine and landed beneath it. The rear wheels
passed over her neck. Dr. Allison and his wife had come from Kittanning
yesterday morning to visit Clifford Shaw, of Chevy Chase, near here, a brother
of Mrs. Allison. They were going home when the accident occurred. Dr. Alison
was not injured. Dr. Allison swerved into the curb as the machine rounded a
bend to avoid striking a boy on a bicycle.
