Alexander City Outlook November 10, 1950
The University of Alabama now has its first war widower. He's R. B. Jones of 
Cragford, whose bride of seven weeks. Gene Terrel Jones, has been recalled to 
active duty with the Woman's Army Corps. Mrs. Jones, a sophomore, has been 
ordered to Ft. Benning, as a staff sergeant. Jones is also subject to recall as a 
staff sergeant in the Marine Corps.
