Flynt, Larry "Claxton"
Aug. 16,1919- July 1, 2005

Larry "Claxton" Flynt,  85, of Salyersville, died Friday, July 1, at Lexington.  

Born Aug. 16, 1919 in Magoffin County, he was a son of 
the late Ernest R. and Lizzie Arnett Flynt. He was a pipe fitter 
and a WW II veteran.  

He was also preceded in death by wives, Edith Arnett Flynt and 
Maudie M. Flynt; a stepson, Morris C. Arnett; a daughter Judy Flynt; 
and a brother , Myles M. "Mick: Flynt. Survivors include two sons, Larry 
Claxton Flynt II of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Jimmy Flynt of Florence; 
four step-sons, Curt E. Arnett of Paintsville, Sidney L., Arnett of Wabash, Ind., 
Ray V. Arnett of Galveston, Ind., and Jerry E. Arnett of Van Lear; three 
step-daughters, Sally M. Wireman of Falcon. Lillian R. Wheeler of Paintsville 
and Sandra F. Lewis of Staffordsville; a sister, Bea Flynt Frazier of Ashland; 
nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 6 at Magoffin County 
Funeral Home Chapel, Salyersville , with David Profitt officiating. 
Burial will be in Flynt Cemetery, Lakeville under direction of Magoffin 
County Funeral Home.
