Salyersville Independent
JOHN HENRY CONLEY of West Alexandria, Ohio and a former native of the Falcon 
community of Magoffin County, died instantly from injuries suffered in a car 
accident near Dayton, Ohio.  His wife, BARBARA LOIS (PIERCE) CONLEY died a 
short time later at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio asl well.

Mr Conley was born at Falcon in 1931.  He was a veteran of the U S Army having 
served in Germany and was employed near Dayton in the manufacturing trade.

Mr Conley is survived by his infant son, John Samuel Conley of West 
Alexandria, Ohio who was also injured in the accident; his mother, Mrs 
Chrystal (Lemaster) Conley of Falcon and brothers roy H. Conley and Ray W. 
Conley of Lorain, Ohio and Challis P. Conley of Falcon.

Mr Conley was preceeded in death my his father Jesse Franklin Conley on 
September 3, 1963.

Funeral services for both John Henry and Barbara were conducted at State Road 
Fork United Baptist Church with internment at Smith Adams Cemetery at Falcon.  
Funeral arrangements were handled by Caudill Funeral Home in Salyersville.
