JESSE FRANKLIN CONLEY, of Mash Fork died instantly from injuries suffered 
while priming an oil pump at Mash Fork.

Mr Conley was born at Falcon in February 1902 to the late John Wallace and 
Rhoda Emily (Caudill) Conley.  He was employed by Ashland Oil at the time of 
his death and had worked in Yspilanti, Michigan during WWII.  He had worked in 
the oil industry as well as farmed and he and his wife operated the Jesse 
Conley Grocery at Falcon as well for some years.

Mr Conley is survived by his wife, Chrystal (Lemaster) Conley and sons 
Roy H. Conley and Ray W. Conley of Lorain, Ohio, John Henry Conley of Dayton, 
Ohio and Challis P. Conley of Mash Fork; brother Sonny Byron Conley of 
Ashland, Kentucky and Claude Conley of Falcon, Kentucky and by a sister Miss 
Mattie Jane Conley of Salyersville.

In addition to his parents Mr Conley was preceeded in death by brothers Scott 
Conley, Ollie Marshall Conley, Boyd Conley,Chester Conley and Proctor Conley.

Funeral services were conducted at State Road Fork United Baptist Church by 
Rev. Thurman Caudill with internment at Smith Adams Cemetery at Falcon.  
Funeral arrangements were handled by Caudill Funeral Home in Salyersville.
