Nancy Wireman Hale, 64, of Gunlock, died Monday, May 3, 
at her residence.

Born March 20, 1940, in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of 
the late Thomas and Liza Conley Wireman. She was a homemaker 
and a member of Trace Fork Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Jr. Hale and two sons, 
Thomas Hale, and Ben Hale; four brothers, Richard Wireman, William 
Wireman, Toy Wireman and Kernie Wireman; and a sister, Edith Wireman.

Survivors include four sons, Danny Hale, Estil Hale, Michael Hale and 
Kevin Hale, all of Gunlock; four daughters, Peggy Sue Hale and Vicky 
Lynn Wireman, both of Gunlock, Nora Lavon Lumpkins of Oak Wood and 
Patricia Ann Vanderpool of Hippo; a brother, Amos Wireman of Lima, Ohio; 
three sisters, Virgie Hubbard of Orleans, Mich., and Loraine Prater of 
Belding, Mich.; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 5, at Trace 
Fork Holiness Church, Trace Fork, with Paul Smith and Robert Cox 
officiating. Burial will be in Wireman Cemetery, Waldo, under direction 
of Magoffin County Funeral Home, Salyersville.
