Maxine Gullett March 28, 1940-Jan. 20, 2001

Maxine Gullett, age 60, of Chelsea, Michigan, died Saturday, January 20, at the Chelsea 
Community Hospital. She was born March 28, 1940, in Magoffin County (Gypsy), the daughter
of the late Herman and Rosie (Fletcher) Hackworth. She was a retired worker for Chelsea 
Milling Co. for 32 years. She was married to Duane Buck Gullett, who survives.

Other survivors include one son, Jack (Janice) Hackworth, of Duncan, Texas; one 
daughter, Kitty Polovina, of Paducah; two granddaughters, Melissa and SueAnn; two 
great-grandchildren; Zachary and Haley; six brothers, Aron (Pearlie) Hackworth, of 
Royalton, Glen (Betty) Hackworth, of Homer, Michigan, Orville (Earsie) Hackworth, of 
Jackson, Michigan, Marvin (Maureen) Hackworth, of Mason, Michigan, David (Barbara) Hackworth,
of Jackson, Michigan, and Dean Hackworth and fiance', Molly, of Jackson, Michigan; and two 
sisters, Joy (Roger) Davis, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Vickie (Rick) Ousley, of Munith,
Michigan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, preceded her in death, Leon 
and Donald Gary Hackworth.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, January 23, at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, in
Chelsea, Michigan, with Ronald Hackworth and Jeff Howard co-officiating.

Burial followed in the Oak Grove East Cemetery, with Staffan--Mitchell Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements
