Bonnie Gardner
April 13, 1917-Jan. 22, 2001

Bonnie Gardner, age 83, of Salyersville, died Monday, January
22, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, after a brief illness.

She was born April 13, 1917, on Puncheon Creek, in Magoffin County, the 
daughter of the late Linville and Bessie Collinsworth Clemons. She was a 
homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors include three sons, Richard Clemons, of Plain City, Ohio, Clifford
Gardner, of Findlay, Ohio and William Clayton Gardner, of Salyersville; two 
daughters, Lorean Hamilton and Josephine Bays, both of Salyersville; two 
brothers, Stanley Clemons, of Grove City, Ohio and Woodrow Clemons, of North
Fairfield, Ohio; two sisters, Ida Minton and Beatrice Minton, both of Cincinnati,
Ohio; 13 grand-children, 24 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends 
who love and miss her.

Those who preceded her in death were her husband, Carlos Hager Gardner; one sister,
Lona Montgomery and one brother, Fred Clemons.

Funeral services were con-ducted Thursday, January 25, at 1:00 p.m. at the Salyersville
Funeral Home Chapel, with Eugene Haney, officiating.

Burial followed in the Gardner Family Cemetery with the Salyersville Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
