Wesley Brown 

Wesley Brown, 93, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, 
March 22, 2004, at 1:40 a.m. at Garden Manor Extended Care Center. 

He was born on June 26, 1910, in Magoffin County, Ky., and lived in 
Middletown for 12 years. Mr. Brown was a farmer for most of his life and 
also a caretaker at Woodside Cemetery for seven years, retiring in 1974. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Brown in 1982; sons 
Cecil Brown, and twins Donny and Doug Brown; daughters Dorothy McCandles 
and Norma Lykins; and six brothers and three sisters. 

He leaves six daughters, Esther Combs of Middletown, Opal (Wayne) 
Abrams, Irene Ratliff, and Gretha (Frank) Collins, all of Richmond, Ky., 
Faye Wells of Middletown, and Sue Barnett of Richmond, Ky.; two sons, 
Bill (Linda) Brown and Lowell Brown, both of Middletown, Ohio; many 
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and several 
great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lethie Brown of Saylersville, Ky. 

ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, 
March 25, at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home where funeral services will 
follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Steve Cable will officiate. Interment will be at 
Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
