Ada Marie Wireman Arnett
Died: Sunday, April 06, 2003
Age: 82

Ada Marie Wireman Arnett, 82, of Salyersville, died Sunday, April 6, 
at Garrard County Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. 

Born Jan. 5, 1921, in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of the 
late Proctor and Mattie Arnett Wireman. She was a homemaker and 
a member of Licking River Baptist Church, Royalton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Finley E. Arnett; a 
daughter, Gloria Ann Arnett; four brothers, Alton B. Wireman, 
Kendall Wireman, Tribune Wireman and Abraham Wireman; and 
five sisters, Betty McFarland, Frances O. Shepherd, Nell Miller, 
Ethel Arnett and Hilda Wireman.

Survivors include a daughter, Stella Arnett Phillips Prewitt of Lancaster;
two sisters, June Watson of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Molly Tate of 
Salyersville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at Magoffin 
County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B. J. Taylor officiating. 
Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, under direction 
of Magoffin County Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 9, and any time 
Thursday, April 10, prior to services at Magoffin County Funeral 
Home, Salyersville.
